Change Your School or Organization with myWorth!
myWorth is a supplemental curriculum born out of our iRespect&Protect community campaign. Our mission is all about keeping our kids safe online, making sure they know THEY HAVE WORTH that is separate from their devices, and that they know they can always turn to a safe adult if they need help or if they make a mistake online.
myWorth can be customized, but we have currently focused on working with Middle Schools:
- Piloted at the 6th Grade Level in Salem-Keizer School District, Perrydale School District, and St. Paul School District
About myWorth
Learn about yourself, your worth, and how cell phones, social media, and the internet have an influence on your life. These activities and tools were developed for schools or other youth-serving organizations to supplement your current curriculums. We’ve already held an initial pilot phase and made adjustments to the curriculum based on the valuable feedback we received from educators.
myWorth features 4 sessions, which can range from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. The materials include an easy-to-follow facilitator guide and PowerPoint slides allow a facilitator to walk participants through safe conversations about our unique gifts as humans, the importance of relationships, and connecting the influence of cell phones and our online choices on our self-worth and happiness.
We can also offer to come to your location to facilitate these sessions.
All we would need is your time, space, and support!
myWorth Materials
